Nakakapagod! i'd been into days of unstopped house errands, i wished to set aside the things but holidays forced me to go on.
Last Saturday was became unextraordinary day to the family. It was Fiesta Day and everybody in the neighborhood had extremely prepared kinds of appetizing meals. Thanks God, no rain poured from heaven, everyone enjoyed the celebration unlike the past two consecutive year rainy celebration that hindered visitors to come and celebrate with us.
Ang daming tao, ang daming lasing! This is highlight of Fiesta, to entertain folks to drink wine uninterruptedly. And i gave what they want. They had local drinks, Tanduay, Gin Kapitan, Genebra San Miguel, Matador, Generoso, and the famous Kuwatro Kantos. Then my brother commented after the visitors about my Mom's specialty, Afritada, to be so appetizing. Naubos lahat, taob ang kaban ng bayan! Chicharong balat at taba ng baboy, inihaw na taba ng baboy, inihaw na tulingan at tilapia, itlog na pula na may kamatis at talong, pipinong lumulutang sa suka at paminta. Enjoy lahat ng manginginom.
Once in a while, celebrating such kind of holiday is exciting. Another way of getting together close family lives away from native land. Sana marami pang Fiesta ang aming maranasan.
